Kalavrita Cheese Pie

Original cheese pie from Kalavrita. Genuine, traditional cheese pie with a unique & rich filling. D-shaped like most customers prefer. Fluffy pastry dough that doesn’t crumble!

INGREDIENTS

Dough 77%: Wheat flour, vegetable fats (palm oil, palm stearin, soybean oi, water, salt, emulsifier: mono-& diglycerides fatty acid, polyglycerides fatty acid, acidity regulator :citric acid, preservative :potassium sorbate, coloring :b-carotene, flavoring), water, cottonseed oil, salt, dextrose, sugar, milk proteins, rapeseed oil. Filling 23%: Mizithra whey-cheese 57% (pasteurized cow, goat and sheep's milk whey, salt), water, feta cheese 3% :(goat and sheep's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria), corn starch, wheat semolina, salt, spice.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 180°C-200°C (355-390°F). Place the pastries on a tray, that has been brushed with oil and place the tray on the middle oven shelf. Cook the pies for 25-30 minutes until they turn golden brown. NOTE: Not suitable for microwave cooking - To cook more than one tray simultaneously, the oven must have a hot air system!

Roumeliotiki ham and cheese pie

Specially-shaped ham and cheese pie, made with soft kourou-like puff pastry that doesn’t crumble. With a rich cheese and sauce filling and two slices of fine ham. With the alfa seal of quality.

INGREDIENTS

Wheat flour, vegetable fats [palm oil, palm stearin, soybean oil, water, salt, emulsifier: (mono-& diglycerides fatty acid, polyglycerides fatty acid), acidity regulator :citric acid, preservative: potassium sorbate, coloring :b-carotene, flavoring] , water, pork shoulder 16%: (pork shoulder, water, potato starch, soya protein, salt, maltodextrine, preservative: pottasium acetate-potassium hydrogen acetate-sodium nitrite-sodium acetate, emulfisier: pentasodium triphosphate-mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, stabilisers: cellulose-carageannan-xanthan gum, sugar, orange fibres, dextrose, antioxidants: a-tocopherol- sodium erythorbate- sodium ascorbate-monosodium citrate-ascorbic acid-citric acid, flanour enhancer: monosodium glutamate-disodium inosinate-sodium guanylate, spices(contains celery), flavourings(contains soy), smoke flanourings, tapioca starch), gouda cheese 1,5%, bechamel powder (potato starch, milk proteins, palm oil, salt, gums: E412, E415, spices, flavor enhancer: E621), emulsifier: glycerole, tomato, tomato paste, cottonseed oil, salt, semi-hard cheese 0.5%, corn starch, potato flakes, spices, sugar, coloring: b-carotene.

Filling 32%: Mizithra whey-cheese 64% (pasteurized cow, goat and sheep's milk whey, salt), water, corn starch, wheat semolina, potato flakes (dehydrated potatoes, emulsifier: mono and di glycerides of fatty acids, disodium diphosphate, preservative: sodium metabisulfite, acidity regulator: citric acid, spice extract, rosemary extract), salt, spice.

Wheat flour, water, vegetable fats (palm oil,palm stearin, soybean oil, water,salt, emulsifiers : mono and di glycerides of fatty acids, polyglycerides of fatty acids,,acidity regulator : citric acid, preservative: potassiumsorbate, coloring: beta-carotene, flavoring), myzithra 16%, feta cheese 4%, bechamel sauce(modified corn starch, maltodextrine, dextrose, milk whey powder, palm oil in powder, salt, butter in powder, stabiliser: sodium alginate, caragenane, sodium caseinate, butter flavor, coloring: b-carotene, flavourings, spices), kefalotyri cheese 1%, parmesan 0.5% (contains egg lysozyme), emulsifier: glycerol, salt, cottonseed oil, spices, yeast extract.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 180-200°C. Place the pies on a tray after greasing it with a little butter or oil. Place the tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Bake the pies for 25-30 minutes(depending on the performance of your oven) until they turn golden brown. Filling 24%: myzithra cheese 63%, water, white cheese 8%, corn starch, wheat semolina, salt.
