Country Style Crinkled pies

The new handmade Country Style Crinkled pies are a new product category created with the knowledge and passion of alfa. Their taste will amaze you! Alfa pastry selects the best ingredients, such as cheeses with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), and specifically Graviera cheese from Naxos island, Feta cheese from Kalavryta, Kalathaki cheese from Limnos island, Cretan Graviera cheese, to produce the ultimate taste for us.Combined with the crunchy, country-style filo carefully embracing the rich fillings of each taste and with whole pieces of ingredients in every bite, make the Country Style Crinkled pies truly irresistible.

Chicken Pie

Made with big and delicious pieces of chicken combined with the special Cretan Graviera cheese and red pepper. Alfa pastry has created the most delicious chicken pie. ​

INGREDIENTS

Dough 58%: Wheat flour, water, sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, extra virgin olive oil 3%, salt, dextrose. Filling 42%: Chicken 40%: (chicken fillet 92%, water, corn starch, salt, dextrose), water, gouda cheese: (pasteurized cow’s milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), onion, Graviera Crete cheese 5%: (pasteurized goat and sheep's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), red pepper, wheat semolina, rice, salt, yeast extract, flavoring, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar, spices, parley 0.5%, corn starch. BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C-200°C (355-390°F).
  2. Remove only the paper top of the package and place the kihi pie in the oven in its paper baking tray on the middle shelf of your oven.
  3. Bake the kihi pie for approximately 40 - 45 minutes (depending on the performance of your oven) until it turns golden brown.

Leek Pie

The new handmade pie made with ingredients of incomparable quality. The Leek Pie, made with Feta cheese from Kalavryta, a favorite of all, combined with a generous filling of leek, myzithra cheese and fresh onion nesting in crinkled filo, offers an explosion of tastes and aromas in each bite!​

INGREDIENTS

Dough 58%: Wheat flour, water, sunflower oil, cotton oil, extra virgin olive oil 3%, salt, dextrose. Filling 42%: Leek 58%, myzithra (whey cheese) 20%: (pasteurized cow, goat and sheep's milk whey, salt), Feta PDO cheese7%:  (pasteurized goat and sheep's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), spring onion, onion, wheat semolina, salt, yeast extract, dehydrated vegetables, vegetable extracts, condiments, spices.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C-200°C (355-390°F).

The rich cheese filling, combined with its crunchy crinkled filo, makes it a provocatively delicious choice for any time of the day.​

Dough 58%: Wheat flour, water, sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, extra virgin olive oil 3%, salt, dextrose. Filling 42%: Feta PDO cheese28%: (pasteurized goat and sheep's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), myzithra (whey cheese): (pasteurized cow, goat and sheep's milk whey, salt), anthotyros cheese 17% (pasteurized cow's milk, cream, whey protein) water, Graviera PDO cheese 6%: (pasteurized cow, goat and sheep's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), edam cheese 6%: (pasteurized cow's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), white cheese 3%: (pasteurized cow's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), wheat semolina, sugar, corn starch.

Filling 42%: Chard 19%, spinach 12%, leek 12%, water, myzithra (whey cheese): (pasteurized cow, goat and sheep's milk whey, salt), onion, curly endive 6%, white cheese: (pasteurized cow's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, Kalathaki Limnou PDO cheese 3%: (pasteurized goat and sheep's milk, salt, rennet, lactic acid bacteria culture), dill 2.5%, wheat semolina, sugar, parsley 0.8%, cow butter, yeast extract, dehydrated vegetables, vegetable extracts, spices, condiments, salt, fennel powder 0.03%.
